West Vancouver is situated at 49° 19' N 123° 9' W, in the Pacific Time Zone (UTC-8). The city is a part of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, northwest of the city of Vancouver on Burrard Inlet and Howe Sound. It is located on the North Shore and is adjoined by the District of North Vancouver.
